Zellig Sabbetai Harris (* 23. Oktober 1909 in Balta, Russisches Kaiserreich; † 22. Mai 1992 in New York City, USA) war ein US-amerikanischer Linguist und Informationstheoretiker. Er entwickelte unter anderem den Harris-Algorithmus, mit welchem sich der genaue Informationsgehalt eines Zeichens in einer Nachricht berechnen lässt.
